Tis' the Season.

Last weekend, our friends, Nick and Lindsay,

threw a Christmas party at the Old Meeting House.

Santa Claus was even there for everyone to get

their picture taken! There was a yummy dinner,

lots of dancing, and good friends.

It was a fun night and we had a great time!

One more final to go,

and then I finally get to relax

and enjoy the

holiday season!

(bliss.)

7 days,

4 exams,

and 1 poster project

away from finishing my first semester of nursing school,

starting a much-needed Christmas break,

...oh and moving...

Hopefully for the last time

in a long time.

Nurse

I know everyone says enjoy college while

you can because once you graduate, it's on

to the real world. But as I spend a majority of my

days studying this summer, I can't help but

hope for the days when I will be done.

No more:

3 inch textbooks,

staying up all night making flashcards,

spending 6 hours at a time in the library,

7:30 am classes...

I'll finally be doing

something I love...and making money. Being

a poor college student is getting old.

I start nursing school at the U this fall and

couldn't be happier. I feel like I'm finally turning

a corner and am one step closer to reaching my goal.

Even though it's going to be difficult and trying at times,

it's going to be so exciting.

I want to be a neonatal/maternity/labor&delivery nurse.

I just love babies and would love to get

to work with them all the time.

I mean, look at this little guy.

How could I not?

So until then... more books, flashcards, and tests.

And there'll be sun, sun, sun...

In 6 short days, I will be leaving on a cruise to Mexico

for Spring Break!

I'm going with 20 of my favorite DGs. I can't wait for all

the fun, but I'm most excited about just

laying in the sun.

I'm so tired of this cold weather, not to mention this

cold I've had for the last 5 days.

Needless to say, 7 days of nothing but sunshine is

just what I need.
